A Floral Affair: Valentine’s Day Flowers

Valentine's Day is that one day a year where you can really get away with spoiling your loved one. Sure, waking up to a dozen chocolates, a dozen roses, and a giant teddy bear (hint for Tor: if you get me a giant teddy bear we need to have a serious talk) is sweet and romantic, but even taking a simple gift of flowers to the next level is the perfect way to be spoiled on Valentine's Day. Back in July, Tor and I teamed up with Square Root Designs for our six-year anniversary and how the perfect floral motif added so much sentiment and romance to the day. Now, they've introduced their gift company called Bouquet Bar, and it's the perfect destination to shop for absolutely top notch flowers in luxury gift boxes for Valentine's Day (or any day or special occasion!). Of course a classic delivery of simple dozen red roses is always welcome in my house any time, but I truly love that Bouquet Bar takes their bouquets and adds more to it, making any floral arrangement we have had of theirs stand out and fit perfectly in our home as a decor piece. The Valentine's gift box features a bouquet with mini roses as well as a dozen regular pink roses (I will never turn down pink!) and other flowers that marry well together. It's so feminine, sweet, and of course romantic! To my surprise, I found a heavenly scented candle (it actually smells like a true flower shop and I am completely obsessed with it!) and sugar coated candies (which Tor took the liberty of devouring himself!). That's the beauty of Bouquet Bar's luxe gift boxes - you can send little gifts with the flowers, too! After selecting which bouquet you'd like, you can then select two gifts ranging from sugar coated candy to more red roses to chocolate truffles to a candle (Citrus Blossom is INCREDIBLE!) - what a way to spoil your lady! [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="10888,10890"][gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="10892,10891"] I am one of those who can be super difficult to buy for (probably explains why I get a lot of Visa gift cards for Christmas and my birthday) so here's another fabulous part: On Bouquet Bar's website, there's actually a "Hint Button" which allows you to send your partner a hint that you'd like a luxury floral gift box for Valentine's Day! How perfect is that?! I think there needs to be a bit more of that button in life! Hint hint! PS Don't forget to use code VDAY15 to get 15% off your gift box order.
