3 Things I’m Looking Forward To This Spring

Now that spring is officially here (yay!), it's time to say hello to fresh flowers, dresses, pastels, and sunshine. It's no secret that spring is my favorite time of the year, partly because my birthday marks the first day of the new season. Since my birthday coincides with its start, I always attribute springtime to be a time of renewal, almost as if it's an awakening. Below are the 3 things I'm looking forward to this spring. 1. Trips to Europe

Tor and I are very lucky that we will get to visit Europe twice during the spring season. It seems we are always traveling to Europe (don't worry Asia, we will get there sooner or later!), but these upcoming trips will be some of our most exciting. First up is our trip to Ireland, where we spent last week in a dreamy castle as my husband finished up filming his latest project. This week, we embarked on a week-long trip around the country to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. Once this trip ends, we will return home for three weeks before we turn around and come back, but this time to Italy and the UK. The last time we were in Italy, we were enjoying our honeymoon. This time we will be back for another obligation of Tor's, but we plan on stealing some days away in the countryside. After that, we head to the UK just in time for the royal wedding. After binging Downton Abbey and The Crown repeatedly, I am extremely excited about visiting the UK again. I will share more details about that trip in the coming weeks!

2. Family Time

Living far away from both our families can get hard on Tor and I, so we try to fit in family time as much as possible. Out of the 3 things I'm looking forward to this spring, this is the most personal. Before our trip to Italy and the UK, we will be stopping in my hometown to visit my side of the family. I find myself missing my home state of New Jersey more and more these days, so I'm looking forward to being back in my hometown at one of the best times of the year.

3. New Updates to The A List

You read that right! In a few weeks, the homepage is going to have a little revamp to better suit what you, my readers, have asked for and prefer. I am very excited about these changes (the design process with my web designer Victoria McGinley is always fun!), as it'll continue to lead this site to where I want to take it. You'll have more content easily at your fingertips. I am also going to be making updates and changes to my newsletters which I am also extremely excited about. As my subscription numbers grow, my newsletter should reflect what my readers want to have in their inbox. With that said, you'll be able to choose what kind of newsletters you want to receive.

What are you looking forward to this spring?

So jealous of your trip to Europe! I wish I was going, too! I’m looking forward to warm weather and time spent outside! This has been my first winter in Boston and I am in need of the warmth.

Looking forward to the warmer weather, flowers and roses in June, Meghan Markle royal wedding this May, there is an energy in the air in the Spring that is unique and special.

I love the salads and lighter foods I like to make in Spring it is a beautiful cleansing season and of course it is warmer to wear dresses and skirts too with no tights.

can you do a post about what suitcases you take on vacation and what makeup bags you use?

I like the white round purse you have in the photos, I have a red one but it is too small for my wallet, time to shop for a new one! 🙂
