A Classic Twist // Palmer Harding Shirt

I certainly love when a classic staple piece is given a high end twist. My style is romantic, feminine, and bold, so I do adore a good classic piece. But when that classic piece is given a bit of an "upgrade", I'm all about giving it a try. When I saw this Palmer Harding shirt on the rack on my most recent trip to London last month, I knew it had to be added to my wardrobe. It's the perfect twist on a classic staple - the white button down shirt. Palmer Harding is a UK brand that can be found at high-end stores in London, including Liberty London where I picked up this shirt. I became obsessed with it the moment I first saw it online on Liberty London's website, so when Tor and I took our usual pilgrimage to the department store in the heart of Covent Garden, I was so excited to see it right there in the Contemporary Brands section. For me, this Palmer Harding shirt exudes romance, drama, and boldness. It's still a white button down shirt but features statement sleeves as well as its main feature - its cascading fabric in a high-low asymmetrical waterfall. It's definitely become one of my favorite standout yet versatile pieces in my closet, one that will work for any city I am traveling to. Whenever an expensive piece gets added to my wardrobe, I always like to make sure it's versatile first. There's no point in me adding something pricey to my closet that will only be worn once. In this case, since this shirt is a romantic twist on a classic top, it's going to be worn over and over again and styled many different ways (I also wore this shirt in Paris - some of you saw me in the streets in it!). Depending on your height, this shirt could also be worn as a dress. I paired my shirt with suede pants from Joseph (another UK brand), black boots, and my favorite Strathberry bag (another UK brand). As I have mentioned before, Tor knows when I have found a new favorite piece if I cannot stop spinning or twirling in it. Let's just say I was happily making myself dizzy twirling down the streets of Kensington in this shirt. This shirt has become such a big favorite of mine that I am so tempted to add another color to my closet, since it also comes in blue stripe and pink.

I’m so sorry for being a hater on your Instagram about 3 years ago. I’m deeply feeling sorry and guilty. I didn’t mean to say something to hurt you, I knew I was wrong. Please forgive me. ♥️
