Girls’ Night / Hotel Indigo Downtown LA

One thing I am extremely grateful to have while living in a large city like Los Angeles is a close group of girlfriends. I've been living in Los Angeles since 2010, and I've known some of my girls since I first came out here. So much has happened in those 8 years... almost all of them are married now (including myself), and half of them are now also moms to one or two precious little humans. While there have been many changes in our lives since we all first met, one thing hasn't changed - our desire for girls' night! Girls' night happens at least twice a month within my group of friends, and luckily we all live so close to one another. Usually meet up at one of our houses for several hours, but a few weeks ago we decided to switch things up a bit. To kick off their new Starlets of the Night sleepover package, Hotel Indigo Downtown LA invited us to bring our girls' night to their presidential suite! Girls cleared their schedules or arranged babysitters, and we all headed downtown for one of the best girls' nights we have ever had. The first thing everyone saw when they walked into the suite was the view. A panoramic view of Los Angeles at sunset was the best curtain rising moment to start the evening. The kitchen was stocked with champagne and lots of delicious wines and cocktails, and servers began bringing decorated food dishes filled with appetizers to keep our tummies full. The arancini bites were always gone in .25 seconds whenever they were brought out! We were also lucky enough to be spoiled by Glamsquad with manicures and pedicures. Since I had just gotten back home from Finland, my fingers and toes needed a little love so these mini spa treatments were much appreciated! The presidential suite is designed after Anna May Wong, who lived in downtown Los Angeles as a rising star in the 1920s (yes, think Downton Abbey era). All of my friends had relocated to Los Angeles from around the country to be their own rising star, and after years of blood, sweat, and tears - here we all still are. I was surrounded by my own starlets, which made celebrating girls' night in the presidential suite even more fitting. There was nonstop laughter, smiles, and Boomerang snaps for Instagram Stories. While the plan was to gather around to watch a rom com movie with popcorn and wine, my girls decided we should choreograph some dances which is exactly what we did while the alcohol kept being poured and the food kept on coming. There were many moments where we did not want the night to end. We all slept extremely comfortably in our pajamas from The Laundry Room (not provided for by the hotel), so much so that some of us did not change out of our loungewear for breakfast downstairs the next morning! At breakfast, we all reflected on our hilarious and very special girls' night at the Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles, and I couldn't help but feel extremely lucky that I got to spend the night with such rad gals. The Starlets of the Night sleepover package in the presidential suite is currently being offered at the Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles. It includes a one-night stay in the presidential suite, an in-room movie displayed on a projector, in-room manicures/pedicures, along with dinner and an assortment of calming teas.

Thank you to the Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles for hosting our girls' night. Although we were guests of the hotel, all opinions in this post are my own.
