Although I love to dress up, sometimes putting on a nice pair of jeans and a casual shirt is just what the doctor ordered. Since it’s still not super warm just yet, I like to add layers to my casual looks such as my latest obsession (besides capes) – sleeveless trenches.
But when I first spotted this sleeveless trench from Topshop, I knew I had to take it home. Ironically, I had been on the search for the perfect regular trench coat for spring, but this sleeveless jacket stole my attention. I first began incorporating sleeveless trenches into my wardrobe last summer while in Paris. I like the edge they give to my look. What caught my eye about this jacket was the construction of it, or should I say the deconstruction of it. The hemline is raw, and the seams are visible enough to make the jacket look stylish and not unfinished. If you haven’t already added a sleeveless jacket to your closet, I would definitely recommend it!
PS Try not to judge my braiding skills… I’m trying to get better at braiding! I am determined to learn how to do a braid crown before summer ends!
