Zit Can’t Be!

photo-273NOOOO!!! It can't be! I woke up with a pimple.... now what??? Ahhh! Well at night I usually do my blemish treatments, but what about during the day!? Let's face it, we all hate the idea of having to venture out in public with a little red bulge on our face. Even the tiniest of blemishes can feel like they are the size of an M&M and that EVERYONE can see them. I have had zits pop up at the WORST possible times - a first date, a big photo shoot, a national pageant, a red carpet, a business meeting, etc. Little blemish or large blemish, here is how I do my pimple camouflage cover up. photo 2-4 First I like to apply a primer to my face. It'll help keep the makeup in place all day. Right now I am using Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 15. photo 3-2 Next, I use a powder close to my skin tone as a makeup base. Bare Minerals, Korres, and Tarte all have their own non-toxic and natural powder foundations. photo 4-2 Then I take my concealer brush and tap some of my concealer directly on to my troublesome blemish - lightly! Currently I use Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer. I put some concealer under my eyes as well. photo 2-5 Next I take a makeup blender (which I affectionately call my "pink eggie thing") and I lightly tap around my blemishes to set the concealer in place. I also tap under my eyes and extend upward towards the edge of my brows. photo 3-3 Next I take my light colored powder again and I gently brush my face to cover the concealer and any excess shine. I be sure to brush lightly under my eyes as well. photo 5-1 Zit? What zit? *wink wink*
