Castles & Crowns

DSC_0271 Ireland Castles Jumpers & Jasmine DSC_0290 Ireland Castles Jumpers & Jasmine DSC_0276 Ireland Castles Jumpers & Jasmine One of the highlights of my Ireland trip is being able to stay in a historic castle. I'm a HUGE history nerd, so getting to reside in a big piece of history for a week makes me super happy. The castle we are staying in was built in 1228 (but has since been transformed into a 5-star hotel). A lot was rebuilt over the past few centuries, but there's still some parts of the castle that are from the original building. I find myself exploring new parts of the castle daily, especially the gardens between the castle and the lake (I'm one of those people who LOVES hearing the sound of the pebbles from the pathways under my feet). When it wasn't too cold (it's definitely not summer in Ireland anymore!), I put on an off the shoulder top from Free People and wore one of my favorite maxi skirts from Urban Outfitters (which I featured previously before on Jumpers & Jasmine). Since I am at a castle in Ireland, I thought a floral crown was royally appropriate! Lace maxi skirt by Kimchi Blue via Urban Outfitters (similar here). Off the shoulder top by We the Free via Free People. Floral crown by a local boutique in Los Angeles (similar here and here). [show_shopthepost_widget id="230898"]

I love love love this outfit!

Not only that, but it’s similar to the one Adelaide wore in an episode of Reign, except her floral crown was red.

    Gorgeous! <3

Old timey outfits are the best things ever!! I also love history and some of the fashion was breathe taking. Love it.
