Ready For Fall

As I write this blog post, it's currently cloudy and cool in Los Angeles, which makes me feel even more ready for fall. I'm even wearing a sweater and I've turned my heat on. For some reason, doing those things made me so excited. It means fall is really on its way in, even in Southern California, and it means I can start bringing out more of my sweaters.

I grew up in New Jersey and spent many years living in New York City, so I'm used to September being the month where the cooler weather comes in, the leaves change and fall, and school starts. Since moving to Los Angeles, we don't really get to experience that until late October/early November. While I am sure it'll go back to being 90 degrees next week, for now I am relishing in this kind of weather at home and getting ready for fall. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13512,13520"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13516,13513"] I have some bucket list destinations to visit in the fall that I hope I get to achieve at some point, such as Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Montana, Utah, and Colorado. Luckily Tor and I will be visiting my hometown next month before we head off to Europe, so I will get my fix of a northeast autumn even if it's just for 48 hours. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13518,13523"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13517,13515"] Pairing skirts and sweaters is one of my favorite looks that make me ready for fall. You can't go wrong with a striped sweater, and I last wore the one in this post back on our whale watching trip in Victoria (see post here). I also love this one and this one. I also bought the skirt in this post last year but never ending up posting about it! Luckily, the style is still popular this year and I found similar ones here, here, and here. [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13522,13519"] [gallery link="none" columns="2" size="full" ids="13521,13514"] I've also found myself using this bag more and more these days. I bought it a while ago, but lately it has been my go-to bag since it goes with everything and can hold a lot of things inside it (even my iPad!). It also comes in all sorts of colors, including this cute pink color. It'll be one of the best bags this upcoming fall. Love how Torrance is taking more and more of your photos lately! He’s so talented as well. Does he edit the photos or do you?

I love the autumnal feeling and colors in the photos!! Autumn is definitely well on its way in the U.K. So a great chance to wear more jumpers if you come to visit the U.K this year!! Loving all the autumn looks you have can’t wait for more!! Also is that a lipstick you are wearing? It’s the perfect autumnal color, can I ask what the brand is ?

    • The A List

The lipstick is Stila Stay All Day in Perla.

You always have the best sunglasses! You’ve inspired me to try bolder styles 🙂

I think I’ve found a new bag 😍 It’s so cute in the pale pink color!!! Do you know anymore I could find a similar one for a bit lower price (college level budgeting is rough on my closet).

I can try to find one!

        Thank you!

Where in Utah are you thinking? I’m from the Park City area so let me know if you need recs! It’s really pretty in the fall especially if you hit at the perfect moment where the leaves are still bright and red but we’ve had our first dusting of snow… 😉

If you ever head out there, here’s a quick list of my favorite resturaunts + things to do:
Riverhorse Main Street–quite upmarket, but the food is amazing
        Harvest–great breakfast/brunch
Riverhorse Provisions–the more casual version of Riverhorse main, their food is exceptionally good for what you pay. The bison burger is a personal favorite of mine!
Armstrong hike–really pretty, esp in the fall!
Sundance Resort–quite a drive, but really worth it.
And lastly, if you’re deciding between staying at St Regis and the Montage… go with the St. Regis, I’ve heard much better things.
