My love for dresses and florals continues even into the winter season, thanks to the perfect winter floral dress. Now, you’re probably wondering, “When on earth would I need to wear a floral dress in winter?” The answer is, “Plenty of times!” Just because it’s the winter season doesn’t mean the special occasions have died down. On the contrary, it’s the most celebratory time of the year with holiday parties, engagement parties, weddings, baby and bridal showers, and birthday parties. Why not arrive in style?

I know that I live in a climate that doesn’t exactly reflect most of the world’s current definition of winter (I’m looking at you, snow covered NYC!), so thinking of wearing a dress somewhere comes as a bit more of a natural choice for me. Even so, knowing me and my love for dresses, I wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to wear a winter floral dress if the occasion called for it. I mean, that’s what capes and coats are for – to keep you and stylish and warm so you can get away with wearing a dress underneath, right?
I love a good winter floral dress that can be extremely versatile, which is why I am loving this floral wrap dress for the season. It makes for the perfect holiday party dress, as well as for a bridal shower, wedding, or even a super important business meeting. I’m pretty obsessed with the blue hue. It’s what initially drew me into the dress. For other floral winter dresses, I also love this one and this one.
I made my look a bit more casual by pairing it with my favorite pair of camel boots and a nude top handle bag. This is a look I would wear to a holiday winter brunch, or a blog meeting, or a bridal shower. You could also pair this dress with pink suede pumps (I have them in nude) and a pink bow clutch (OBSESSED with this bag!) for a more sophisticated evening look.
