Memories from 2014 + A Big Announcement & a Giveaway!

As we approach the end of 2014, it's time to reflect back on what a year it has been. There have been triumphs and victories as well as some downs and disappointments. For me, 2014 felt like one big adventure. I traveled more this past year than any year prior, and  obviously I am not complaining about that! I finally got to visit London (three times in three months!) and Paris, and I also got to pay homage to my grandfather by visiting his country of Denmark. I got to witness my man and his hardworking costars receive a People's Choice Award, and I got to support him with his nomination for Best Actor in a drama series at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. I met some pretty incredible people (including His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco) and I also made wonderful new friendships with many from all over the globe - from Australia to the UK to New Zealand - that I know will last a lifetime. Alyssa Campanella 2014 memories But I think the biggest and most important memory of them all this past year was the start of this blog on February 19, 2014. With that said, I have a big announcement to make: After much deliberation, thought, research, and some deep conversations with honest friends, big changes are coming to Jumpers & Jasmine - most notably, the name! While I will always adore the name Jumpers & Jasmine (especially since it was my wonderful T who inspired me to come up with it), and will keep the logo framed as a reminder of where this journey all began, I have come across a new name that better fits my blog and has a little more of a personal touch. I am very excited about this new chapter and cannot wait to fill you guys in on the name once the new logo is finalized! And now that I have reflected on my past year, it's time for you to reflect on yours! I am holding a giveaway of one of these Monarch desk calendars for 2015 of famous female monarchs (for all you Reign fans it includes Mary, Queen of Scots!), and you can win one just by sharing on Instagram your favorite memory from 2014! Monarch Calendar Giveaway Giveaway rules: You must be following me on Instagram (@AlyssCampanella). Hi Alyssa! Im from the Philippines. I love your posts…it’s everything rolled into one: fashion, travel…life. Torrance takes beautiful photos too. Not to mention the fact that you look perfect in any angle.

P.S. Reign is such a big hit in my side of the world too. It helped us get through the long duty hours in the hospital while we were having our residency training. ❤️

Hey Alyssa! First of all, I LOVE YOUR BLOG! You have helped me a lot. Also, I can’t wait for the new name. I recently got a Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm lens and I’m still trying to figure out how to get perfect pictures. My question for you is, how do you make you pictures so soft and perfect? Which settings do you take your pictures with usually? Anyways, thank you for providing such helpful tips and recipes!
