We checked into our hotel Il Borgo di Vescine in between Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti. It was a nice little retreat in the middle of Tuscan wine country after a few days in the hustle and bustle of Florence. We immediately dropped our bags and donned our bathing suits since it was incredibly hot and sunny without a cloud in the sky, and we hit the villa pool. I had been waiting for the perfect weather to go swimming in this striped bowtie swimsuit from Kate Spade. The water was painfully cold, but that didn't stop us from having a 3 second, refreshing dip!
After an hour of sunbathing and squealing in the incredibly cold pool, we changed to go explore the nearby town of Castellina in Chianti. Since it was so warm, I was so excited to finally wear this off the shoulder dress from Rebecca Taylor. I finished the look with a Eugenia Kim hat that appropriately read "Happily Ever After" - perfect for a honeymoon!
After enjoying pizza and gelato in the town, we headed back to the hotel for dinner but not before stopping along the way to take pictures of the picturesque Tuscan countryside.

After a few days in Florence, Tor and I rented another car (a little manual BMW) and drove about an hour south of Florence to the Tuscan wine region of Chianti. There are so many little towns within Chianti, but we settled on Radda in Chianti as our next destination.
