Summers in Canada

It's been a busy week of unpacking and reorganizing, editing photos, catching up with friends, and booking flights (where to? You'll find out soon!)! Canada Day was uneventful for us since T had to film, but it was fun seeing all the fireworks go off around the city from our condo balcony... [show_shopthepost_widget id="872474"] I complain a lot about how the winters in Toronto are absolutely brutal, and they are, but I keep forgetting just how gorgeous Toronto is in the summer. Last summer Toronto had a summer season for approximately one week before it was suddenly fall weather at the end of July. This summer has been a bit better, but there's so much I want to do to enjoy it before it gets too cold again (Family Guy actually has a pretty amazing clip that's quite accurate about Canadian summers). One of my favorite things to do in the summer here is to eat out because basically every single restaurant in this city has an outdoor patio in the summer. With the sun not setting until after 9:30 pm, it makes eating at sunset even more exciting. I keep finding more and more excuses to gather friends for dinner and drinks while it's still so beautiful out. One of my favorite new accessories for the summer, especially when heading out to dinner with friends, is this convertible clutch by GiGi New York. I have been a fan of GiGi New York for a while now (they have excellent gifts!), so I was pretty excited when I saw this incredible bag in their collection. It can be converted and used three ways - as a clutch (how I have it in these pics), as a cross body, and as a shoulder bag! I absolutely love convenience and this convertible bag enables me to change up my style without having to change up the bag! It's incredibly roomy, and since I like to put practically everything I own plus a pharmacy into my bag I appreciate how much it accommodates. This bag will definitely come in handy not just this summer but also this upcoming fall. I can just picture it with a sleek fall coat and tall black boots. P.S. How chic is this summer coat from River Island?
