I love fresh flowers. It’s actually become an addiction. As soon as one flower arrangement wilts in my house, I rush out to grab new flowers to replace them. It’s also why my bridal showers and wedding were filled with fresh flowers – I can’t get enough of them!
I had never been to the Los Angeles Flower Market. To be quite honest, I didn’t even know it existed until my wedding planners mentioned they were going to head down there one day to grab fresh flowers for my bridal shower’s flower crowns (seen in this post).
So one morning I decided to trek downtown early (get there at 8 am to beat the crowds, to get the best parking spaces, and to get dibs on the best flowers of the day) and check it out for myself. Let’s just say the flower market is my dream backyard! Lately I’ve developed a fondness for tulips, so of course I picked up two bundles of them at the market.
For my flower market excursion, I thought it was appropriate to wear a floral themed skirt. I love full skirts and I love pops of color, so this Essentiel Antwerp skirt was more than perfect.
