Last week, Tor and I celebrated our sixth anniversary of being together. This week marks four months that we have been married. Naturally, we have been in an anniversary mood! So when we were invited to celebrate our anniversary week at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire (yes, the Pretty Woman hotel) for a day of romance, luxury, and beauty, we could not say no!
Our day began with a special visit to the Beverly Wilshire’s floral workshop with their florist team – Square Root Designs. They’re the masterminds behind all the gorgeous floral masterpieces inside the Beverly Wilshire. From the suites to the lobby, we were excited to get a peek at their floral secrets.
I got the chance to learn to make a spiral nosegay bouquet of roses with their florist Sarah. As someone who is obsessed with flowers and always, always has fresh flowers throughout the house, I was super stoked to learn how to make this beautiful bouquet! What says “anniversary” more than a beautiful bouquet of flowers?
If you thought I was obsessed with flowers before, I think my obsession grew even more after my morning with Sarah. I think my husband knows that the floral arrangements around our house are about to get some special touches thanks to the tips I learned. We even got to take my floral creation home for our anniversary!
After our morning in Square Root‘s workshop, we were treated to a luxury couples massage at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire’s spa. My husband had not had a professional massage in over seven years (since before we even met!), so this was an extra special treat for him to enjoy alongside his wife. After our massages and a quick stop in our respective steam rooms, we enjoyed a tasty champagne lunch beside the pool. After reflecting on such a great day with SquareRoot and the Beverly Wilshire, we headed home to our fur babies smiling and feeling very relaxed.
