5 Danish Brands To Know

shop the post

As most of you know, I am a proud Dane. My grandfather immigrated from Denmark when he was a young man, having been born and raised in Espergærde just north of Copenhagen. So it should come as no surprise that a lot of my favorite brands are Danish brands. Danish fashion is very approachable, soft, relaxed but well tailored, and undeniably timeless. In no particular order, I'm sharing the 5 Danish brands to know right now, as they all happen to be just some of my favorites in the fashion world. Stine Goya

I just discovered this Danish brand earlier this year, and I fell in love right away. The first Stine Goya piece I added to my closet was this dress with the most dramatic sleeves that I used to only be able to dream about. I also added this shirt dress to my closet recently, and it quickly became one of my favorite pieces to wear as it goes with absolutely everything, is one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn, and flows effortlessly when you walk. I also love this dress, this top version of the dress I have, and this dress. With that said, the brand's feminine silhouettes and vibrant printed pieces that add a touch of romance make this Copenhagen-based label one of my absolute favorites. [highlight_box id="1"]

Ganni

I have been a fan of Ganni for years, and I even made it a priority to visit their flagship store in Copenhagen on our latest visit. Ganni's approach is contemporary ready-to-wear, the epitome of Danish fashion, and it's why I usually rely on one of their pieces for the right business lunch, travel day, or a fun date night with my husband. This is why it was a no brainer for me to add Ganni as one of the 5 Danish brands to know now. I am obsessed with their stripe sweaters (here and here), but I also have my eye on this dress, this dress, and this dress as well. [highlight_box id="2"]

Baum Und Pferdgarten

This brand is one of my favorite brands to look for pieces with fun, playful patterns and bright colored fabrics year round. Baum Und Pferdgarten is a Copenhagen-based brand that has some of my favorite sweaters and dresses every year - two of my favorite things! I've got my eye on this dress, as well as this dress, this sweater, and this skirt. If you're looking for something modern, relaxed, but fun and cheery, this is the brand for you and why it's included in my list of 5 Danish brands to know. [highlight_box id="3"]

This brand is the epitome of modern feminine dressing with relaxed, colorful silhouettes. Their sweaters first caught my attention years ago, and I immediately fell in love with the rest of their pieces too. Since I do not wear real fur, I am currently eyeing this gorgeous multi-colored faux fur coat for the upcoming fall/winter season, as well as this chic top and this cozy sweater. Designers Remix

This is another brand I've been a fan of for years and also sought out their storefront on Strøget, Copenhagen's famous shopping street. Designers Remix mixes feminine, minimalist, and contemporary designs into its ready-to-wear pieces, making them one of my favorite brands to seek out transitional pieces each season. I've currently got my eye on this dress (how chic are those polka dots?!), this coat (OBSESSED), and this cozy sweater.
