I am a sucker for maxi dresses. I can never have enough of them. I love how loose they are, how free they are, and how flowy they can be. Once spring and summer rolls around each year, the jeans get put away and all my maxi skirts and maxi dresses come out. About a month ago, while browsing on Asos, I came across a maxi dress by Religion that I knew I just had to have. It's a simple black maxi dress but it has several layers within the skirt and a corset top. You can dress it up or dress it down, but for this weekend I chose to dress it up for a nice dinner with all of our friends at The Maidstone Hotel's Living Room restaurant. I paired it with a nice, clean white blazer and some nude wedges (I chose to wear wedges to ease my way into wearing heels again after tearing my plantar facitiis in February), as well as a statement red lip.
