Summer Trench

I hope everyone has been having a great week! I know it's only Wednesday but so far this week has been a good one, despite having so much on my plate. It's when I am super stressed that I remind myself to remain grounded and remain in the moment. I am currently sitting in my LA apartment and there are just so memories here and this neighborhood. We've lived in this apartment for three years - it's hard to believe it's already been that long! It's also hard to believe I have lived in LA over five years now... Despite living in LA for five years, T and I always find new treasures to explore. Not far from our apartment are these stairs in the hills that lead to nowhere but an empty lot and field. We had driven past these stairs a few times, but we never took a moment to look. They're on an abandoned lot which made the top of the stairs feel a little extra creepy to be honest! But the overgrown grass and hedges did not bother me, in fact, I really love how untouched everything is. I'm super happy we aren't moving too far away because it might be a nice little escape whenever we need it. I had been anxious to wear this Marissa Webb trench the moment I first saw it. I recently fell in love with Marissa Webb's pieces (see the Magdalena Maxi Dress I wore two weeks ago). I love the buttons on it plus I love how sturdy yet comfortable it is. I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't mind a corset (I'm a history buff, remember?) and this trench reminds me of that - and that's a good thing! With multiple buttons across the front, it can be styled many different ways. My favorite way is pictured here, with the top of the trench opened a bit and buttoned back. I love that the back is a little longer; is it gathered? It looks a little like a bustle–which I think is fabulous!

The Olive green top is beautiful. I do like the look but the destroyed pants with those very closed heels together are just not my cup of tea.

It is very beautiful trench. I like olive color. Or khaki. It is very well combined with your red hair. Pleasure to watch your photos

I love this coat. I want to buy one for myself so bad.
I also love the fact that Torrence captures your personality so well in these photos(:
