Pastels & Cut-Outs

Happy Friday! This past week and a half has been INSANE. Like I said in my last post, I love being busy. But this was the first time my week was full to the brim in a while! This past week I shot a blogger digital campaign with a major cosmetics brand that I will be sharing on a future date. I was super excited to collaborate with this brand and I cannot wait to see the pictures! Since being home in Los Angeles for more than just two weeks, I find myself trying to meet up with every friend I haven't been able to see over the past few months of my traveling back and forth between LA and Toronto. It's been wonderful catching up with friends (some I haven't seen in months or years) and seeing how their lives are going. Everyone seems to be doing so well and that makes me very happy! I was also super stoked to introduce T to my bestie's newborn son, my darling little nephew. Seeing my friends experience this miracle of life touches my heart and it touched my heart even more to see T bonding with the baby. However, it does kind of make me stop and realize that I am already at this part in my life - where my sister is married, my best friends are having babies, and we are currently hunting for our first house. It really puts life into perspective a bit! But while my life and my friends' lives may be changing each day, one thing that hasn't changed is my love for brunch! I had a brunch date with friends every single day this week (they know me so well!). It's been a bit colder than usual in LA this week (yeah I am starting to notice a trend, Mother Nature, and I am NOT pleased!) so my go-to brunch look is always a sweater, comfortable jeans, and perfect heels. I have been obsessed with this Misha Nonoo sweater since I returned home to LA. Normally I am not one for cut-outs, but the cut-outs on this sweater are appropriately placed without being too revealing. Plus it is SUPER comfortable. I thought if I was going to have one sweater in LA, it's going to be this one!
