Touch of Lace

Ever since I started wedding planning last year, I developed the newfound love for lace. I have always adored lace, but for some reason as a bride, I realized just how much I love lace. It doesn't always have to be white lace either.

Related dress (also available here), Rebecca Minkoff bag, Illesteva sunglasses, Steve Madden shoes (sold out, similar here and here)

Lace makes everything feel a little extra feminine, so when I first saw this dress by Related, it was love at first sight. Not only the detailed lace caught my eye, but the sleeves did too (especially the sleeves)... just beautiful perfection. In fact, I plan on packing this dress for our honeymoon that begins next week! Re: Your snapchat analysis of Blake Lively’s Met Gala Dress

Respectfully: actually, she was on theme. If you read the description, the mandate was to consider the intersection between handmade and machine made in fashion, not to try to out-robot all the other celebrities or look like a futuristic Apple product. If there had been a better general interpretation of the theme by the guests, you would have seen a lot more intricate detailing and structured silhouettes and a lot less metallic silver. Most of the guests seem like they learned about the theme and decided they could work with the “in the age of technology” bit and fulfilled the rest of it only incidentally. Some notable exceptions include Blake, Emma Watson, Bey, Dakota Johnson, Bee Schafer, Anna Wintour, Lilly Collins (that bandeau though), Anna Kendrick, Katy Perry…

I think after seeing a swarm of metallic and robot costumes, it was a surprise to see her dress! But yes, I did end up finding more about her look as well as Emma Watson’s and found them to be more my style and on point with the actual theme!

Wow! It’s wonderful dress. I love similar skater dress. The red heels is very cool combined with a dress.
