Reformed Style

Wedding update: My sister's wedding finally and officially took place this past weekend, and it was absolutely beautiful and incredibly emotional. After over a year of planning, the moment was finally here. She was so stunning, it took all our breath away. But most importantly, it took the breath away of her new husband. It was such an honor to be her Maid of Honor. I loved every minute of it. I could not be happier for them both as they embark on this new journey together! Although I think I am inspired to write some wedding-themed posts here on the blog... would you guys be into that? Today's post is about one of the most stunning casual dresses I have ever worn. I first discovered The Reformation while browsing on Instagram, and once I introduced myself to their website I knew I had found a gem. What drew me to The Reformation (besides their gorgeous dresses!) was the fact that they use vintage and recycled fabrics to make their pieces, plus all their pieces are made in either NYC or Los Angeles. Since I live in Los Angeles, it's great to know that this dress was made locally. I adored the royal blue color and the bell sleeves on this Electra dress, and I paired it with a black hat and perfect party dress black ankle boots for a day at home in Los Angeles. Hey Alyssa! First of all, I LOVE YOUR BLOG! You have helped me A LOT. Not just with fashion, beauty, and cooking, but with writing too. I also can’t wait for the new name! And now I have a question for you; I recently got a Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm lens and I’m still trying to figure out how to get perfect pictures. My question for you is, how do you make you pictures so soft and perfect? Which settings do you take your pictures with usually? Anyways, thank you for providing such helpful tips and recipes!
