Cinnamon Bun Waffles

My first food post on The A List blog! Woohoo! And it's probably going to be the shortest, simplest, and easiest food post I will ever make! Okay, maybe not. But it's definitely the easiest and shortest food post I have ever written so far in my entire experience of blogging! This past weekend I was inspired by a Pinterest post to make cinnamon bun waffles. I posted two pictures on my Instagram and Facebook that got a lot of comments and a lot of followers demanding I give them the recipe on my blog! There's no secret and not really a recipe - it's so easy you might want to make it every Sunday morning! I went to my local grocery store and picked up some pre-packaged Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns from the refrigerated section. When it came time to make the waffles, I rubbed some cooking oil onto my waffle iron to prevent the waffles from sticking. I then placed two or four pre-sliced cinnamon buns onto my heated waffle iron, lowered the lid, and waited for the iron to tell me the waffles were ready! While still hot, I smeared decadent white icing that came with the pre-packaged buns on the waffles which melted into them perfectly. T came home at the exact moment they were done and he made a bee line straight for his plate! And they were delicious! Obviously tasted just like a cinnamon bun but in waffle form. So thanks, Pinterest, for the awesome idea! Cannot wait to try more awesome recipes! Cinnamon Bun Waffles Cinnamon Bun Waffles
