The Etsy Shops I Cannot Stop Buying From

shop the post

During this time at home, I’ve been doing a lot more research on small businesses to support and I think it’s safe to say I have fallen in love with so many. I’ve found a lot of small businesses via Etsy, and I’ve come across some amazing merchants from around the world. Most items I have purchased via Etsy are handmade as well as custom made, making each purchase even more personal. Below, I’m sharing my favorite products from the Etsy shops I love.

ROMANTIC NIGHTGOWNS AND ROBES

One day while on Etsy, I typed “romantic nightgown” into the search bar hoping to come across something dreamy and unique. A lot of us have been spending time in loungewear or pajamas while we work from home, and I wanted to add a little romance to my looks. Sarafina Dreams popped up immediately, and from the moment I saw their shop I wanted to buy everything. I fell in love with this nightgown and immediately added it to my cart, along with a floral robe that is now no longer available but this robe is very similar. All pieces are custom made and tailored to your measurements. I asked for an exaggerated length because I wanted my pieces to flow and touch the floor. Yes I am unapologetically all about the drama. Because I can’t stop wearing my nightgown and robe, I recently added this nightgown to my cart. And I also added 5 other pieces to my Favorites list.

HOMEMADE SKIN CARE

I previously mentioned this brand AMI London in this post about my favorite Black owned businesses founded by women. I’m always looking for the best in skin care, and I love all natural products. Earlier this summer, I give this glow oil credit for giving my skin a radiant glow even if I was just staying at home. But lately, I have been obsessed with this shea butter to help with dry skin on my body. It also smells heavenly because ylang ylang and frankincense are two of my favorite scents!

SWEATERS FOR ARGOS

Okay, I will admit that I have gone a bit overboard lately when it comes to ordering sweaters for Argos from The Trendy Whippet. He doesn’t have much fur; in fact, he’s abnormally completely bald on his underbelly! So he easily gets cold the minute the humidity and heat die down in Hong Kong. He looks so chic when he’s dressed up, even in this striped onesie (I got the long sleeved version for winter). I also fell in love with these matching snoods for us from Wear Chartbeat… I may need an intervention. Argos will probably need a bigger closet than me!

MASKS FOR EVERY OUTFIT

Most countries around the world have made it mandatory to wear a mask indoors and out – Hong Kong included. Why not make mask-wearing fashionable? I first ordered these masks from Crafty Classix, but then I fell in love with so many other colors and ordered a bunch more that’ll match my fall wardrobe – black, chocolate, mauve, burgundy, grey, tan, olive, and pink (they also come in bunches like this one). Plus they are super affordable and can be washed and worn multiple times. I’m probably going to stock up on some more colors soon!

ECO-FRIENDLY CLOTHES

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole this summer searching for custom clothing on Etsy. I loved the idea of something being handmade personally for me from a small business. I discovered Spanish brand Blue Anemone when I came across this gorgeous peasant blouse that was recommended for me. You’ve probably seen me wearing this blouse many times on Instagram Stories because it has become a staple in my wardrobe. All items are sustainable and made from eco-friendly fabrics. I’ve got my eye on this sweater (love love love!), these pants, and this blouse so I’ve added them to my Favorites list.

CUSTOM KNITWEAR

We are approaching my favorite time of the year – sweater weather! I could live in sweaters all day every day, even when I’m in Hong Kong. Naturally, I have been searching for custom made sweaters on Etsy to add to my ever-growing pile of sweaters (much to my beau’s chagrin). I currently have this gorgeous cozy cardigan from Atelier de Jolie, and it’s so warm and beautiful! But I also have my eye on this sweater by Renie Knit and currently have it in my cart because I am OBSESSED with maxi cardigans. But I am also super tempted to go for this huge, dramatic fringe sweater jacket. Should I do it??

What are some of your favorite shops on Etsy? I can’t wait to discover more!
