Good morning, A-listers! First off, I just want to say thank you for all your support and love with the relaunch. It means so much to me to read all your messages, comments, tweets, etc. I enjoy sharing my stories and my style with you and I cannot wait to watch this A List family grow!
I’m continuing my NYFW series with day three’s look, with an entire outfit from Reiss. A little back story as to how I discovered Reiss: One day last year I stumbled upon a photo of the Duchess of Cambridge wearing a beautiful white dress from Reiss. The photo was a few years old, but I loved the style of the dress. If I like the style of something bad enough, I will of course look up the brand/designer and take a look at what else they design. I found myself on Reiss’ website declaring love at first sight. Classic, contemporary, and feminine – three words I would certainly use to describe my style and I saw that in Reiss. I had the pleasure of meeting up with the Reiss team on my first trip to London last spring and they were my very first collaboration. Obviously, I am still a fan since I chose to wear them during NYFW.
Back in the fall, I loved the idea of a powder blue coat for the winter. I searched high and low for the right one but could not find it – until I saw the Lia coat from Reiss. I adore Reiss’ coats (even T is a fan of the men’s coats! I pushed him to get a super stylish wool, black coat on our last London visit in September and he wore it frequently throughout fall/winter.). Their fits are always perfect, including their jackets (my navy Reiss jacket has become a staple in my wardrobe especially in Toronto). So when I began planning this NYFW outfit around the coat, I chose simple colors of black and white to make the powder blue pop.
On this day during NYFW, I attended Carolina Herrera – a designer not to miss during NYFW. Her theme this year was water, and since I live in California most of the time it definitely brought me back home. My favorites during the Carolina Herrera show are always the gowns, but I do look to her and all her pieces for classic and timeless inspiration.

Perfect with your hair color!! 🙂
Hi! I LOVE your new blog!
Just a random suggestion: when you open a tab in a browser a lot of websites have a little icon next to the text but for this site there’s just the little page icon. It would be cool if the red A from the blog title were there instead! It makes a web page look more legitimate and put-together AND it’s an easy fix, if I remember correctly from an HTML course I took a couple of years ago.
Anyway, just my two cents. Can’t wait to see the rest of your NYFW looks!
